Livermore Pilates Studio provides a safe and comfortable atmosphere for you to perform your Pilates under the watchful eye of trained professionals. We believe Pilates is more than exercise. Pilates will transform your body and your mind. The studio was opened in 2006 by two physical therapists to assist the rehabilitation of their patients with carefully chosen Pilates exercises on Pilates equipment they installed in their clinic gym. Very popular mat classes for the general public soon followed, and then a full-time Certified Pilates Instructor was brought in to expand the Pilates program. We offer Pilates for men and women of all ages, youth through older adults. Our instructors are qualified and skilled to safely and effectively adapt Pilates for pre-and post-rehabilitation, sports specific conditioning, and general fitness. We also have experienced instructors qualified to teach Specialty Pilates for those with breast cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis, scoliosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and others. We are proud to offer the only dedicated Pilates for Osteoporosis small group reformer classes in the Tri-Valley. Choose from Individual Appointments, over 30 weekly, scheduled Semi-Private small group classes (four clients maximum), educational workshops, and community programs. Our instructors are professional and experienced. Each instructor is either Certified or Trained by internationally known and respected STOTT PILATES® or Polestar® instructor training programs. Our Certified Instructors have studied Pilates for many years and hundreds of hours. Livermore Pilates Studio shares a large reception area, changing rooms, private off-street parking lot, and a convenient location in an attractive building in south Livermore, close to Pleasanton. The Pilates studio, physical therapy clinic, and several independent aestheticians and massage therapists create an informal wellness collective of dedicated body workers, all under one roof.
